The Technical Support Staff will assist in the daily operations of the fabrication garage, construction sites, and other civil projects. This individual will work closely with the business owner to supervise direct workers, ensure timely project completion, minimize wastage of resources, and occasionally perform technical tasks such as operating tools or machinery when necessary. Key Responsibilities 1. Oversee and coordinate daily tasks for workshop and construction workers. 2. Monitor project timelines and ensure deadlines are met. 3. Step in to perform technical tasks or operate tools when necessary to avoid work delays. 4. Conduct quality control checks on completed work. 5. Monitor the use of materials and tools to minimize wastage. 6. Keep track of project expenses and assist in managing budgets. 7. Assist the business owner in managing day-to-day operations. 8. Ensure tools, materials, and resources are ready and available for workers.

Responsibilities

Requirements Technical skills with experience in fabrication, construction, or related fields. Ability to use basic tools and machinery (e.g., welding equipment, drills, and other hand tools). Strong organizational and supervisory skills. Basic understanding of financial management or willingness to learn. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Willingness to work both in a workshop and at construction sites as needed.

Requirements & Skills

Preferred Qualifications A technical diploma or similar qualification is an advantage but not mandatory. Previous experience in fabrication, construction, or project coordination.
