Responsibilities

1. Research and Concept Development: Research topics, develop concepts, and write engaging video scripts for various industries and formats (explainers, tutorials, testimonials, etc.). 2. Scriptwriting: Write clear, concise, and compelling video scripts, ensuring alignment with client objectives and brands 3. Content Optimization: Optimize video content for SEO, ensuring maximum visibility and engagement. 4. Collaboration: Work closely with videographers, editors, and producers to ensure script alignment and effective storytelling. 5. Revisions and Edits: Revise and edit scripts based on feedback from clients, directors, or producers. 6. Style Guide Adherence: Ensure consistency with brand style guides, tone, and voice. 7. Video Content Strategy: Contribute to developing video content strategies, including series concepts, episode ideas, and distribution plans. 8. Stay Up-to-Date: Keep current with industry trends, best practices, and platform-specific requirements.

Requirements & Skills

Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field. 1+ years of experience in video content writing, copywriting, or related field. Strong portfolio showcasing video scripts, content writing samples, and/or relevant experience. Excellent writing, storytelling, and communication skills. Creativity: Ability to think creatively and develop innovative concepts. Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring error-free content. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills. Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines. Familiarity with video editing software, content management systems, and SEO principles.
