Key responsibilities: 1. Customer Service Assisting Customers: Help customers locate products within the store, answer questions about products, and provide recommendations. Checkout Process: Operate cash registers to scan, process, and finalize customer purchases. Handling Complaints: Address customer complaints and escalate issues to supervisors if necessary. Bagging and Packing: Bag groceries and ensure items are packed safely and efficiently. 2. Sales and Transactions Processing Payments: Handle various forms of payment, including cash, credit/debit cards, and vouchers. Suggestive Selling: Encourage additional purchases through upselling and suggesting complementary products. 3. Inventory and Stock Management Expiry Management: Check expiration dates and rotate stock to minimize waste and ensure freshness. 4. **Store Maintenance** - **Cart Management**: Collect shopping carts from parking areas and return them to the store.
